kurumimochi , mitarashidango
Kurumi mochi is named after the soft mochi that is “wrapped” in bean paste (it does not contain walnuts).
The ingredients are only glutinous rice, soybeans, sugar, and trehalose (a natural sugar). We use carefully selected rice to make soft mochi with a mallet, and then wrap it in a lightly sweet, creamy bean paste made from “Tsurunoko Soybeans,” a high-quality soybean brand from Hokkaido.
It is our most popular signature item, long loved by locals as a nostalgic taste of home.
